Donation is intended as an altruistic action for which one renounces any type of claim regarding paternity.

Furthermore, the legal text expresses the fact that the child born following reproductive treatments with donated gametes (donation of sperm, oocytes and embryos), is for all legal purposes the child of the couple who underwent the treatment.
